TENANT IMPROVEMENTS
This project involved the remodeling of an early 1963 Frank Gehry designed commercial structure.
The client is a full service post-production facility based in Chicago which provides every aspect of the TV commercial making process, including creative on and off line editing, film transfer, special, visual and audio effects. The new space provided them with three separate, soundproof video-editing
bays, in addition to a conference room, an executive producer’s office, and lounge areas. The project won the 2004 AIA National Honor Award, 2004 AIA/LA Honor Award, 2003 AIA/CC Honor Award, 2003 Record Interiors, and 2003 Wood Design Awards. It has also been published in over 40 books and journals.
