Long Beach Facades Long Beach, CA

The Long Beach Facades Improvement project provides significant visual and aesthetic improvements to four buildings at the corner of Long Beach Boulevard and Anaheim Street across from the Metro Blue Line. The renovation upgrades, strengthens and unifies the block to reinvigorate the street as a desirable

pedestrian oriented environment. The design has murals by a local Los Angeles artist, Hector "Shandu" Calderon, to enliven this urban area at the pedestrian level with color and public art. The project is funded by a Community Block Development Grant.
