RESIDENTIAL & AFFORDABLE HOUSING / PUBLIC WORKS
Located in Palmdale, California, this project involved a Senior Center of approximately 15,000 square feet located in the Courson Connection development as part of the overall master plan which also included design and construction of 350 units of housing, recreation center, and public park.
The center is bright and open with natural daylight coming into all spaces and has many alternative use spaces including a coffee
bar, library, pool room, computer center, ballroom and dining hall. Completed in 2010, the Center received the 2011 California Parks and Recreation Society Achievement Award for Facility Design - Community Center/Facility for Populations of 100,000+.
